2. WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
This policy explains how Zyflow uses cookies and similar tracking technologies across:
- The Zyflow mobile application (iOS and Android)
- The Zyflow website at https://www.zyflow.eu
The short answer: our mobile app does not use browser cookies. Our website uses strictly necessary cookies plus optional analytics and advertising cookies that load only after you consent via our cookie banner.
3. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and — in some cases — to track your behavior across sites for analytics or advertising purposes.
"Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, and device-level identifiers used by mobile applications to achieve similar purposes.
4. THE ZYFLOW MOBILE APP — NO COOKIES
The Zyflow mobile application does not use browser cookies.
Instead, the app uses your device's built-in local storage to store the information it needs to function — specifically your login session, so you do not have to sign in every time you open the app. This is standard practice for mobile applications and is not shared with other apps or accessible via a web browser.
Third-Party SDKs in the App
The mobile app includes third-party components for analytics and error monitoring. These services may use device-level identifiers (not browser cookies) as part of their operation:
| Service | Purpose | What it stores |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics service | Understanding how the app is used | Pseudonymous identifier linked to your account |
| Error monitoring service | Detecting and diagnosing crashes | Session and device context at time of error |
These services operate under data processing agreements with HERKO d.o.o. and are described in detail in our Privacy Policy.
You may object to analytics processing at any time by contacting us at legal@zyflow.eu.
5. THE ZYFLOW WEBSITE — COOKIES WE USE
The Zyflow website uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) to load tags. Optional tags (analytics and advertising) respect your choices through Google Consent Mode and our CookieConsent banner.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session / hosting cookies | Maintains browsing session and serves the page correctly | Session |
| cc_cookie | Stores your cookie consent preferences | Up to 182 days |
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under EU ePrivacy rules. You cannot opt out of them without disabling the website entirely.
Analytics Cookies (optional)
If you accept analytics, we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID managed via GTM) to understand traffic, page views, and key actions such as contact form submissions.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Distinguishes users for analytics | Up to 2 years |
| _gid | Distinguishes users | 24 hours |
Advertising Cookies (optional)
If you accept advertising, GTM may load measurement pixels for platforms such as Meta (Facebook) and ChatGPT Ads so we can measure campaign performance. These cookies and related storage are set only after you opt in to the Advertising category.
6. YOUR CHOICES AND HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES
Website Cookies
On your first visit you will see a consent banner. You can Accept all, Reject optional cookies, or Manage preferences. You can reopen preferences anytime via Cookie preferences in the website footer.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- See what cookies are stored and delete them individually
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies (note: this may affect some website functionality)
Guides for common browsers:
Mobile App Local Storage
The session data stored by the mobile app can be cleared by:
- Signing out of your account within the app
- Uninstalling the app from your device
Analytics Opt-Out
To opt out of analytics data collection within the mobile app, contact us at legal@zyflow.eu and we will action your request. On the website, use Cookie preferences or reject the Analytics category.
7. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we introduce additional non-essential cookies or tracking technologies, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting those technologies.
We will notify users of material changes via the app and/or by email. The updated policy will show a new "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
8. LEGAL BASIS
The use of strictly necessary cookies and local storage for authentication in the mobile app is based on our legitimate interest and the necessity to perform the contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Analytics and advertising cookies on the website are based on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the EU ePrivacy Directive). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
